BrainFocus was founded by Nilli Lavie, Professor of Psychology and Brain Sciences at University College London and director of the attention and cognitive control laboratory, at the UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience. We use cutting-edge science (in Neuroscience, Psychology, and Computer Science including machine learning) to develop brain technologies to assess and optimize brain capacity for attention, perception and performance.

We recently developed a distraction diagnostic tool and validated a strong link between the level of distraction and one’s happiness (see our recent White Report).

We are currently working on digital brain technologies designed to induce a state of attention focus and optimize productivity- watch this space…
